What is TL 9000 Certification?

TL 9000 certification denotes conformance to a telecommunications-specific set of requirements based on ISO 9000 and was developed by the Quality Excellence for Suppliers of Telecommunications Forum (QuEST Forum). TL 9000 raises the bar on ISO 9001:2008 with an increased emphasis on quality system requirements for the design, development, production, delivery, installation, and maintenance of telecommunication products and services. In addition, TL 9000 is the only quality standard that requires metrics to be collected so that a company can benchmark its performance for improvement.
